We let the kids open on gift on Christmas Eve and the rest Christmas morning.
I make MANY homemade loaves of bread. Wrap them up pretty. And then pass them out to neighbors, friends, and take some to our local homeless shelter.
Thanks for sharing:) Jes
We watch the parade together!!
My grandfather always had the one prank gift he would give. Once it included wrapping a dozen boxes inside of each other and in the last one was measuring tape. he then brought in a shovel with a bow and made my dad go dig his present up in the backyard.

My husband and I started our own tradition. He never really had Christmas stockings growing up, and I always had mine on Christmas morning, but early on, we started exchanging stocking on Christmas eve, and then we do other presents on Christmas day.

Our family tradition is to open one gift on Christmas Eve. The kids all know the gift will be new pajamas. It’s become a fun thing to try to guess what the style will be.

One of our big holiday traditions is when my Mother’s side of the family gets together shortly after Thanksgiving to make homemade raviolis for Christmas. It’s fun & a tradition we’ve passed down through the generations.
