It may seem that I have been doing quite a lot of shopping and truth be told – I have. Since last year I stashed aside the money I could to purchase some modest but dressy clothes for my graduate school wardrobe. It is of particular importance to me that I manage to look nice; however, being that I only had $200 stashed aside and now only have $90 remaining (a pretty good job of thrifty shopping if you ask me!) I am relying upon after Christmas sales to stock up on the rest of my dressy clothes. The most crucial item I still have left to purchase is a dress for any potential interviews. As I said yesterday I had my heart set on the Francesca dress from Layers which is pictured to the left (I had won a $25 gift card from Tina at A Family Full of Opinions to help off set the cost); however, due to an unfortunate fire at their store which is still under investigation, this absolutely perfect dress isn’t happening for me and so I am back on the prowl for the perfect dress. I need you all to help me find a dress that will make that perfect impression on graduate entrance committees, something modest but not something that makes me look as though I should be living on a compound. Something colorful but definitely not red. Something with blues, at knee length, with elbow length sleeves…something almost exactly like the dress I wanted in the first place and at a decent price too, you all know how cheap thrifty I am when clothes shopping. A hefty task for you all but if anyone can do it I know my loyal readers can…speaking of which, are any of you still out there?
