The Comforter Is The Culprit!

Do you remember the hypo-allergenic comforter that I purchased a couple of months ago from Marriott? And do you recall the amount of complaining I have been doing lately about headaches and sinuses and the like? Well a few weeks back Buzz suggested taking the comforter off the bed. We finally took the comforter off the bed and what do you know? No headaches, no more clogged sinuses…how much does that suck? I contacted Marriott as well as the company that makes the comforter “Pacific Coast” to inform them that this item is certainly not hypoallergenic and yet no one seems to know what to do. Actually I take that back, Pacific Coast has offered to exchange it for another of their comforters, although the trouble is that all of their comforters are made of the same fill. So I contacted Marriott for the millionth time today and again, no one seems to know what to do or say other than “sorry we won’t take it back”. I understand that it’s not resalable, I wouldn’t want to buy a used comforter even if it was kept in a cover but the point is that the item was not what was advertised. The comforter is not hypoallergenic which, for people like me with awful allergies, well that just stinks. So here we go on the great customer service roller coaster and I attempt to find someone, anyone who can help me get that $200 back while this comforter just sits in another room doing nothing at all. I used to love Marriott…I have to say one thing though, the customer service for their online store help? It SUCKS.
