Why We Love Our Dentist

Do you remember a while ago when Buzz went for his pre-implant dental work? Where they extracted the tooth and scraped the socket and implanted a bone graft and stitched him up? Well for some reason Buzz didn’t take to the stitches and they had fallen out within a few days along with the grafting material. So we got him back in again for more grafting and stitching. Yet again those stitches started to come undone and he went back yesterday to get more. The poor guy has had countless stitches now and I feel awful that I’m not there to help him get through this phase of the implant, although he says it hurt considerably less when there wasn’t an extraction thrown in to the mix. He is slated for more stitches next week to make sure that he doesn’t lose any of the grafting material and this implant can go in as soon as possible. So why do we love our dentist? Because each and every time he has called Buzz back in to his office he has done it without charging him a penny. He makes sure that Buzz’s mouth is taken care of and gives extra follow up appointments just to make sure that he is doing well. It could be that he is a friend to us both but it could also be that he’s just a pretty good guy over all!
