Handmade candles but as clumsy as I am Fire + Melting wax + Me = Disaster

4. What was the best Christmas gift you received as a child?

In an attempt not to be repetitive I will say my bear “Emi” who still sits in the corner of my bedroom, he was a big brown bear who wore a hat and scarf and I begged my mom for him every time we passed the store front.

5. What items are on your kid’s wish list this year?

I have no kiddos but I would like to get my furkid a new Disney plush because his big Nemo has somehow lost a fin over the past year.

6. What is your favorite holiday food?

Turkey or green bean casserole (hear more about this in tomorrow’s Monday Mingle)

7. What will you be hand-crafting for the holidays?

Dinner, I am in charge of holiday meals for the family now and I don’t mind it in the least.

8. What is your favorite holiday movie?

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – I watch it year round.

9. Favorite holiday song?

Mary Did You Know? – Rhea and I share the same favorite song!

10. Favorite holiday pastime?

Singing carols and taking the family (dogs included) on a long walk before we eat dinner.

I stole today’s Q&A from Mommy 2 3 Monkeys who in turn stole it from Moody Mama Say’s so I’m carrying on the thiefing tradition and fully expect you to as well.

Great answers Amy! Isn’t that song amazing? I love it. And I still have a stuffed bear “Ebony” that I got. He was my first “giant” stuffed animal. He’s now on my sons bed. 🙂

Turkey is my favorite holiday food, too! I love it but I’ve never tried making one myself. Maybe one year . . .

I was so intimidated the first year I made our turkey but it turns out that once you get the thawing time down and get over taking the bag of insides out that the rest is a breeze! I’ll have to post my favorite turkey recipe this week to share with you 🙂
