Hey, I think I was a Sprite in Brownies too. I think the Canadian program is the same as the one in England, if I remember correctly. I’m pretty sure it’s different from the US program.
Ewwww . . . holes in the floor for toilets.

The toilets in France used to be the absolute most disgusting thing in the entire universe, thank God they kept up with the times though and now have real toilets!

I’d love to go camping I think, but I am not sure I want to go to disgusting but I love the idea of out in the woods , near a river, fishing , cooking on rocks (not foreign to me) but I think I’d rather an RV , like Jen.
Your camping in France sounds really nice too. And another thing, I’d rather have gone to camp as a kid and not as a mother with kids.

Sorry that you’ve not been having a good run with your schooling. It can be really discouraging, but it sounds like you’re keeping a good outlook and not letting it get you down. That’s good.

Would have been seriously scarred by hole in the floor bathrooms, but strolling to the boulangerie for fresh baguettes and cream sounds heavenly.

Those holes in the floor STILL haunt me when I think about them, it makes me feel ill LOL
At first, I didn’t like the Monday Mingle but now I really do… even though I get to it on Tuesday, lol.
1. Do your kids have chores? Do you pay them to do chores?
– She is only 4 so no “chores” yet. We just started a reward calendar for ‘good notes’ from school to encourage her to listen. Smart kids tend to act up when bored, lol. This will probably morph into chores, as I’m starting to push her more and more to clean up after herself and she is complying well.
2. Were you in Girl Scouts/Brownies or Boy Scouts? Are your kids? Favorite Girl Scout Cookie?
– I was a Daisy and then a Brownie. She isn’t yet but I want to get her involved in *something*. I think I’d rather get her into soccer. I don’t want to sell cookies. I AM LAZY!! haha
3. Does your family go camping? If so, do you have a funny/interesting experience?
– If by camping, you mean hauling my family’s “portable hotel suite” camper to the beach. Kitchen, bathroom, radio, cable tv, a/c…. lol. I have slept in a tent a time or two though and really do enjoy it, but I’ve always been near a house or a bathhouse, so I never had to deal without showers or toilets. I am NOT a wilderness girl! haha
I think my “niece” would make a GREAT brownie plus I can buy all her cookies
They kicked you out?! HA HA You trouble maker you. Oh the chores are a bore…where is the maid when you need one. I could see you RV’ing it…you can tell you are British that way. We are truly the wild wild west as Americans. LOL (HUGS) my friend I totally miss you.
OMG there is a Samoa ice cream!? I have to find some. Yay for warmer weather for you.
You HAVE to try that ice cream although if you gain 500 lbs it’s not my fault LOL
