That is a great picture. I love grandpas!
Katrina´s last blog ..Wordless Wednesday – HELP, I’m stuck!
Me too
I lost mine in 2001 but think of him every day.
Grandpa’s are the best…I just lost mine less than a month ago…they are purely magical that is the only word to ever describe them. Magical!
Karie´s last blog ..Gifts for Him: System Mechanic
Magical is right, my grandpa raised me for most of my life and I pity the man who has to live up to him because he has a high standard to meet!
Both my granddads died before I was born. You’re lucky to have known your granddad.
RUBY´s last blog ..Wordless Wednesday: Tipi
Ruby, I was truly blessed to have been raised for the most part by my grandfather and I only hope that someday I make half as great of a role model as he was. I am so sorry that you never knew your grandparents.
What a sweet photo. I’ve been going through old photos recently and missing my grandparents myself.
Sarah´s last blog ..Happy Veteran’s Day
Sarah, I just love going through old photos. As a child I never saw a real significance to photos other than them being a total inconvenience to me as I would have to stop what I was doing to ‘smile,’ but now that I am older I am so thankful to have given those few moments for the memories.
What a sweet post. I love the shirt you are wearing.
Pam´s last blog ..Wordless Wednesday
Pam, I don’t believe I ever wanted to take that shirt off, it was shimmery gold and black – as was the trendy thing back in the 80′s (I believe this pic was in 1989?) and I felt like a rock star in it…I would like to think that I know a little better now lol
