Wordless Wednesday – Tears Before Bedtime

There were very nearly tears before bedtime today as my mom and I tried to assemble a Christmas tree that has far too many branches and not enough places on the “trunk.”

We did, but the decorations have yet to go up because…well, we just couldn’t bring ourselves to do it yet. Mom said next year we’ll do a Charlie Brown tree
I am very sorry. My mom and I assemble our tree every year and our issue is its weight. So heavy but gosh it looks beautiful when it’s up!

LOL Jacqueline you have no idea! The skirt for the tree smelled like animal urine (something from the garage eek) and I had to lay on it and put the bottom branches in to cushion the stand legs which were sticking in to me…although by that time I was crying with laughter as I got poked and prodded with branches and the dogs climbed under there with me to sniff the mystery animal pee. Next year it’s definitely a Charlie Brown tree!
